Client and task

Vega is a multi-specialty clinic: dentistry, women's and men's health, paediatrics, neurology, psychology and more. The clinic needed a website where patients find the right specialty, doctor and price on their own, request a call back and pay for services online.

What we built

• Services by specialty

  From general dentistry to psychology, each specialty has its own page.

  Patients see right away whether the clinic treats their problem.

• Doctors and reviews

  A profile for every doctor with patient reviews.

  Patients choose a specific specialist, not just a service.

• Searchable prices

  A price list by specialty with service search and a full PDF version.

  The price is known before calling the clinic.

• Online payment

  Services can be paid on the site by Visa, Mastercard, MIR or JCB card via Sberbank acquiring.

  Services can be paid from home rather than at the front desk.

• Call-back request

  A “Request a call” form on the site.

  The patient leaves a number, the clinic calls back and books the visit.

• Compulsory health insurance (OMS)

  A dedicated section on services free of charge under the OMS policy.

  Policy holders understand what they are entitled to for free.

• Articles, FAQ, doctors' work

  Patient-facing sections with the clinic's publications.

  The site answers common questions before the visit.

• Search visibility

  Structured data for search engines, a sitemap, the clinic's address on Yandex Maps.

  Search engines understand where the clinic is and what it offers.

How it works

The site is a Vue and TypeScript web app. Service descriptions, doctor profiles and articles are stored next to the code and built into pages with each release: the site needs no separate admin panel or database. Payment is taken by the bank's payment form: card details are entered on the bank's side, the site doesn't store them.

Timeline and scale

1. December 2019 kick-off.
2. 2020 main development: services, doctors, prices, payment.
3. 2021–2022 support and improvements.

Scale: about 1,800 commits.

What it gave the clinic

• Patients find everything themselves

  Specialties, doctors, prices, OMS and contacts in one place, without calling to ask “how much is it?”.

• Payment isn't tied to the front desk

  Services can be paid online with any major card.

• The clinic is visible in search

  Structured data and a sitemap help search engines show the clinic's services.
